For Grandma Pat (albeit a week late)
I've had a lovely spring season in DC including my second time experiencing peak bloom weekend. We braved the slight rain on Friday to picnic + read on the Mall before walking around the tidal basin as the sun set. (10/10 for Sunset on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins)

Saturday was the Blossom Kite Festival. Hannah and I went to meet Olivia (who interns with the Operations and Programming office of National Cherry Blossom Festival). It was nice to see the cherry blossoms by day too.
