She might have celebrated our anniversary too hard...

On the 25th year of our wedded bliss, Carey had a consult about her right knee following an MRI. The knee started feeling sore a few weeks ago after a couple weeks of training for the 15K she was planning to run on Nov. 10. She rested it for a couple weeks and it was feeling better, but she went ahead with an MRI anyway and the diagnosis was a stress fracture of her proximal medial tibia, which Google tells me is the upper part of the shin bone that connects to the knee joint. Treatment is to keep weight off it best she can for a month, using crutches when required. Looks like Lincoln and I will run the Stockadeathon in her honor.
