Another May, another CDPHP Workforce Challenge with my co-workers at PEF. In a super weird coincidence, I ran the 3.5-mile course in the exact same time as last year: 30:15. Kinda bummed I couldn't trim :15 off it and go sub-30. I was second on the PEF team, behind my colleague, Chris (two to the right of me, with beard), who ran 28:35. I think if I'd seen him at the start he could have been my rabbit and I might have been able to go faster than my 8:39 mile-pace. But after he did a little warming up on the sidewalk, he jumped back into the start queue and was a hundred or so runners in front of me and I never saw him again. Anyway, good times.
