A new tradition is born?

Inspired by The Happy Gilmores, the Semi-Contended Merrills took part in our local pub's trivia night on Wednesday. Five rounds, eight questions per round, thankfully with the questions/pictures projected onto a couple monitors because it was very hard to hear the emcee, who is a local realtor. The night's theme was "the Capital Region." We lost any shot at the $100 gift card when eight logos of area breweries were shown and we had to guess the names. We did quite well with geography and history and some pop culture. Did you know the 2010 Angelina Jolie movie "Salt" was filmed partly on Interstate 787? Neither did we. Our team was the Merrills + Sam, who is home for a month before another summer stint with the SMU program at Oxford.
