Greta and I left Carey and Lincoln at home in Niskayuna Friday for a two-night visit to South Lake with mom and dad. On the way in, we biked the Black River Canal Feeder trail from Forestport to just short of Booneville, about 22 miles. Saturday we did a 12.5-mile loop from South to North Lake and then around to a connector logging road that brought us over to Honondaga Lake and downhill to camp. A couple lovely memories. Also got the dock in and the barge unwrapped. In Syracuse tonight celebrating Vickie’s birthday, then home tomorrow to relax for part of a day before the short work week.

I can see the resemblance in the last photo. Though the sunglasses and helmets do a nice job of masking some facial features. Sounds like a fun ride!
