It's no secret that the stock market is on a hell of a run. So it's a good time to be a financial advisor. All of which explains why ours, Matt Greene at Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, invited us and about 50 of his other clients (I'd like to think he picked the ones with the highest net worth, but seeing inside the others' homes I think we're like his "starter investment couple.") to a HOST Experience via Zoom last night. And what an experience! Last week he mailed us all three wines and three bourbons and then he invited both a wine sommelier and a bourbon expert to conduct a virtual tasting. And lemme tell ya, for a guy who hasn't had a drop of alcohol since November 2020, three sips of bourbon was quite a treat! Carey, champion spouse that she is, tried the wine as well, though by the time she got to the final bottle she decided to keep it corked so she can share it with others. The bourbons, Dad, are all yours and Carey's... if you can keep them out of your son-in-law Peter's throat at South Lake!
