The penultimate NICA mountain bike race is in the books, as both kids pedaled three laps of a pretty grueling course at Glimmerglass State Park in Cooperstown. It was almost all uphill for the first 1.5 miles, with 14 switchbacks to the top. Then it was a lovely downhill on some well-worn singletrack down to the lake. Lather, rinse, repeat. One more to go, next weekend at McCauley Mountain in Old Forge. Can't wait!
