Disc golf
We ventured over to Schenectady's Central Park on Sunday and again on Tuesday night to check out their 18-hole disc golf course. Previously, we'd only played on Niskayuna's course. Linc and I both agree Schenectady has a better setup. More park-like, fewer tall grasses to tromp through atop a landfill. And some cool hole placements. One is entirely downhill, making you feel like you should be able to just float your disc in for a hole-in-one. Spoiler alert: We haven't. It should be noted that Lincoln's Ultimate Frisbee experience does make him a slightly better thrower than me, but we're both still working on "shaping" our shots, or what real golfers would call "draws" and "fades." In other words, turning the disc left or right as dictated by any given hole. Anyway, I can see it being a common summer evening pastime.
