Spring concerts

They came and went with nary a mention in this blog, so I'll note them here. It was Greta's final flute performance, at least until she joins the American University pep band and toots them on to Patriot League titles! Each concert featured a way too long recitation of various year-end awards and scholarships given to students. But the chorus teacher did put together some pretty cool performances, including one multimedia presentation that captured all the Class of 2023 endured during the pandemic, especially to continue their music studies. Some photos that already feel as if they're from a time capsule of the chorus rehearsing from home via Zoom and then later, standing 12' apart in the auditorium, masked. A day later, Lincoln played sax for the last time in the concert band (he'll be a symphonic band saxophonist next year), including a short solo in one song, which I managed to record. Props to Carey's friend Sarah, president of the Niskayuna Friends of Music, for the nice high-res photo of Greta.
