It's both literal and an apt metaphor for this photo, as the kids challenged Aunt Kathy to a rousing board game Tuesday afternoon. She's our guest this week, taking a break from living with her brother Kevin the last couple months in Rochester. As for the metaphor -- she was there for Carey and me during our D.C. years when the rest of our family lived hours away and we were new parents and we'll be forever grateful. So as the game of Life unfolds, it's only fitting that we can be there for her now. Oh, and she beat those young whippersnappers, retiring as an actress with three children and one cat.
