Blog readers from the beginning will remember that was a frequent headline in the early years as the kids settled into nocturnal routines, grew teeth and generally just learned how to self comfort. Well, fast forward to May 2020 and the pandemic is impacting sleep as well. The kids still get their 8-10 hours (thanks to no morning alarms), but bedtime is pushed waaay back, often closer to 11pm than 10. And lately, in part because Mommy is working so much and only home for a few hours with them, they've decided that dragging sleeping bags onto our floor counts as family time. And it's true, we do often have some nice conversations for the 10-15 minutes it takes to settle down. I should record them, because sitting here just 12 hours later I can't remember last night's! Anyway, Yeager is appreciative of the occasional new arrangement since it gives him FOUR dog beds in the house instead of three.Monday, May 18, 2020
