Greta's new teacher sent home a note the first week of school outlining her goals for 5th grade. Children should begin by reading 20 minutes each day with a goal of 30 minutes before the end of the year. Each night they are to log their minutes and have them initialed by a parent. The first day of school Greta logged 120 minutes. Over the weekend she logged more than four hours. I think she's going to make that goal.
