First week in the books

The kids completed their truncated first week of school with no tears and no battle scars. Both seem to like their teachers - Colby and Zelkowitz - from youngest to oldest. I spent my days tidying up the living space and got in one good bike ride. We're staying home for the four-day weekend, after which I hope we can say we're no longer living like Boxtrolls.
