As for storm recovery, we're still powerless, but certainly not friendless. Carey's working from friends' houses all week, while I commute during off-peak hours and get home after the kids are in bed. It's not a wonderful life, but it's a life.

Held up Halloween
South Orange celebrated Halloween on Nov. 5 this year. We trick or treated downtown at a handful of businesses. Greta was an elf and Lincoln was a Skylander character named Gill Runt. Their friends the Haydens were a dog (Charlotte) and Frankie Stein (Emma) from the TV show Monster High.
