Emma celebrated her eighth with a climbing wall party at Lifetime Fitness on Sunday. Lincoln LOVED it, perhaps because he weighs exactly 35 lbs, the same mass as the upward lift exerted by the rope. Basically, he climbs like he's in zero gravity, levitating up the side of the wall. His sister and mother made it to the top as well, smiling down at me 40 ft. below. Their fat father, on the other hand, could only make it about halfway, but was proud to have made it that far. Never could do a pull-up, even 30 lbs ago.
