Merrill-Pandillo-Santillanes Thanksgiving

We drove west to Syracuse on Wednesday after Carey's workday, and came home early Thursday evening, due to snow in the forecast. As usual, Grandma's traditional spread was outstanding -- perfectly moist turkey, just-sweet-enough potatoes, and real stuffing with real sausage, plus a whole lot more. Somehow we didn't get the traditional selfie after we all sat down, but here are a few photos.

Carey carved the bird this year.

I am annually grateful that the Santillanes women do the dishes!

Guess who watched all 4 episodes of Stranger Things, Vol. 5 the day they were released?

Carey's Thanksgiving Day breakfast: Jam on a roll, fresh from the oven!

Lincoln hasn't felt well since getting his Covid and flu vaccines on Tuesday evening, but we're hoping the fever and nausea will lift soon -- at least in time for him to fly home Monday before dawn! Meanwhile, we keep checking on Greta via FindMy, as she explores Berlin.
