For just the second time this semester, we all got on a FaceTime call yesterday afternoon and it was quite lovely. Greta chatted partly while jogging with one of her roommates and Lincoln was on his computer sharing various class projects he had completed. I picked up sticks in the yard while Carey added some mulch around recent landscaping projects. What we learned: Both our kids are remarkably well-adjusted and self-assured. Here's hoping the big, bad world doesn't pop that idealism bubble too soon. We need young people who believe in the promise of a better world, now more than ever.
