That's our new joke, which was originally a line in the 1988 film "Biloxi Blues" -- "Man, it's hot. It's like Africa hot." -- turns out Africa this time of year is a paradise, weather-wise. It never topped 80 degrees in our two weeks there. Here, however, we left on a 100+ degree day and returned for a sweltering week where the mercury won't fall much below 90 during daylight hours. It made me think a time-lapse video of Yeager eating ice cream would be cute, but the 30 seconds it took him to lick it away got compressed down to 4 seconds. I imagine I can change that setting, but I'm too old to figure it out.
