Lincoln's stomach bug lasted just over 24 hours and he returned to school yesterday. Ate a pizza and ran 4 miles, so I guess all is well. I, however, as Karma for calling him out in this blog, caught the bug and am home today. Started feeling it last night at mountain bike practice and ended my ride early to wait in the car for Greta. Somehow managed to hold the vomit in until we got home, but then had a very restless night. Slept a ton from 8pm until about 11am and am now feeling at least 75% better. Holding down all food and feeling up to blogging, so there's that. Oh, and COVID negative, for those of you who still worry about such things. Shaping up to be a a busy end of the week. Lincoln qualified for the Suburban Council JV Championships tomorrow at Troy High School, where he'll be run the 800 meters and the 4 x 800 meter relay. Saturday is the NCAA men's lacrosse quarterfinals at UAlbany for me and Niska Day (think Rodman Field Days, but no Pepsi Ring Toss) for the kids, and on Sunday we're off to Vernon, N.Y., for mountain bike race #3.
