I believe Lincoln's Ultimate Frisbee club team is still playing without a name, though that is the leader in the clubhouse, proposed, I think, by coach's young daughter. They played a mini-tournament in nearby Guilderland on Sunday and it's amazing how much they've improved! By far the strongest team on the field, with a better understanding of the game's geometry and much less hesitation to take risks and make passes. My one gripe: Still too much time BETWEEN points. They're never going to create a ready-for-TV sport if they pause for 5-7 minutes after each score. It's cool that the team talks a little strategy and gets ready for the next "pull" (i.e., kickoff), but maybe there should be a 3-minute timer or something. You're welcome, USA Ultimate.
