Lincoln challenged himself this year and signed up for an advanced intro to German class that basically combines German 1 and German 2 into one year. Mid-way through the year the class took a national exam to gauge their progress and Lincoln scored a "Silberurkunde," or silver award, that earned him a certificate with a lot of long German words on it (hervorragende Leistung or distinguished achievement) and a medal. He insisted on posing like it's a mug shot.
Almost as smart as his Dad.
