Food fight!

We are maintaining our shop-every-two-weeks approach, with each member of the household choosing three dinners in advance to cook and eat during the fortnight. Every other Friday we order Chipotle for contact-less carry-out at lunch time. Otherwise, lunches are leftovers or sandwiches or for Lincoln, instant ramen or Hot Pockets or Beefaroni. Breakfast is mostly cereal/toast/bananas, though I've been known to fry an egg or make an egg white omelette if I don't have any morning Zooms. Bottom line: We are eating better than ever because we are shopping for specific recipes and we have the time to prep and cook starting at 5pm. Here are just a handful of the delicious dishes that we have now crapped out.

Summer salad on Saturday, nobody's pick, just Carey using the veggies on hand.
Betty Crocker's ham/potato/asparagus bake -- Linc's most surprising pick so far

Shrimp fried rice -- my pick
A side salad with our chicken parm dinner -- radishes for Grandpa Bob
Gluten free mac and cheese -- Greta's pick, this lighting doesn't do it any favors.
Homemade ramen - Linc's pick and it gets my vote for best dish of the quarantine
Linc with the aforementioned ramen and his "beer"

Chicken parm -- my pick

Gluten-free peach cobbler/"buckle" -- meh, the kids (and Phyllis!) liked it
