The plague

It's been a wild and wooly start to 2011 here at Chez Merrill. Lincoln spiked a 102 degree fever Tuesday night and stayed home with Carey on Wednesday and Thursday. No other symptoms besides very swollen glands and a fever that goes down with Tylenol, only to come back up, sometimes 12 hours later. He still wasn't fever-free on Friday, so I had the pleasure of a 3-day weekend. Movies watched so far: Mater's Tall Tales (Cars Toon), Super Friends!, Vol. 2 (The Balloon People), Barbie Mariposa & her Butterfly Fairy Friends and Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper. Thankfully, the grown ups also got to watch The Town after the kids were asleep last night. Two thumbs up. Anyway, there's been a lot of this -- excuse the Blackberry snap.
