Had a very nice birthday at home -- mostly by myself. A couple meals without kids, watched "Restrepo: Afghan Outpost," then went to REI and bought myself a pair of birthday boots. When everyone came home from work and school around 5, the kids had a quick dinner and Greta and I went to her dress rehearsal for this weekend's school variety show. I'll post a video of that later, but for now, here's Lincoln serenading me a month ago. We'll pretend it was today.
