We tempted fate and accepted some free tickets to Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes last night at the Prudential Center in beautiful downtown Newark. I think the kids enjoyed it. I spent more time watching them than I did the low-budget performance on the rink. There were moments -- Ariel's entrance, for one -- when their eyes literally got wider and you could see them believing that what they were watching really was a mermaid figure skating. We were afraid of getting mugged and only brought the Kodak pocket cam along, so the pictures are pretty close to awful.
