Greta somehow seems both taller and wiser after four months on her own in Kenya. She regaled her Aunt Sara, Uncle Peter, and Gilmore cousins with stories for about 90 minutes after we picked her up at JFK and is now on her way home with Carey and Yeager, for a much-anticipated cuddle with Mittens. I stayed behind in Rye to work tomorrow on Long Island, and we'll be back together as 75% of the family on Tuesday. Lincoln returns May 8. May this be the slowest summer in the history of summers.
