I moved my body through 13.1 miles of space for the fifth time on Saturday, running my third Helderberg to Hudson half marathon from Vorheesville to Albany, N.Y. Not my PR, as the runheads say, but not bad. 2:03:10, for an average pace of 9:25. In an odd stroke of timing, Carey was joined by my parents, my sister and Peter to cheer me on at the finish line. I did have a decent kick the final 1.5, so probably should have tried to go faster in the middle miles. My co-worker Joe set his PR at a little over 1:50 and my other co-worker Chris lost steam around mile 11 and finished at about 2:06. Next up: 10 miles with Greta on May 24!

Well done! Have you broken 2 hours before?
