Ran through the streets of Schenectady for the third time in the Electric City 10K on Saturday for 10 kilometers, or 6.4-ish miles. I finished faster than my other two efforts (in
2023 and
2025) -- clocking 57:46 for a 9:18 average mile pace. It was the first leg in the three-legged stool that will earn me a
Flavor Flav-sized medal that says 29.3 on it (10K today, 13.1 miles on April 11 in the Helderberg Half Marathon, and 10 miles on May 24 with Greta in the Miles on the Mohawk). Yay, me.
Congrats! Sub 9 for the half?
ReplyDeleteThat would be pretty fast for this old man! Though this half, as I think I told you, is on a 95% slight downhill elevation rail trail, so lots of serious runners use it to establish their PRs.
