Did you know?

That Niagara Falls is eroding at about 12 inches on average per year, receding back toward Lake Erie? At current rates, in about 50,000 years the falls will cease to exist and who or whatever occupies Earth at that time will just call it all Lake Erie.

In the meantime, PEF will continue to occasionally hold its annual Convention here, which is why I visited this week. We'll be back Oct. 18-21 for the 48th PEF Convention. Enjoyed a nice 6 mile run with a colleague around Goat Island, which separates the American and Canadian sides of the falls, and a gourmet meal at one of the area hotels that is happy to have our business when we bring 1,000 union members to town.
