Last post from Africa, as Carey boards a plan tomorrow night (her time, EST +8 hours)! She really enjoyed her extra week "in country," getting to act like the awesome godmother she's always wanted to be to Kira, now age 11 and old enough to appreciate Carey's incredible kindness. Here are a couple great photos from this week's riding lesson (turns out it was horses, boring!) and soccer (football!) match. I pick her up Saturday mid-afternoon at a bus terminal about 45 mins outside Logan Airport in Boston. I think I speak for Yeager when I say, can't wait!

The horse is named Krackle.
