More festive fun

Some additional photos from our 36 hours in Rye and Manhattan. We started the trip with a sunset dog walk along the beach, before driving to Manhattanville University in Purchase, N.Y., so Sara and the Women of Westchester (WOW!) could serenade us at a charity concert benefiting the Westchester Children's Choir that the WOW conductor runs as one of her day jobs. (She's also a music teacher at Scarsdale.) WOW is a singing group Sara joined a year or so ago consisting of, you guessed it, women who live in Westchester County. The net worth of these vocal cords is in the high seven figures. And they sing like angels. 

 After our race on Saturday, we enjoyed a dog-free day as a family wandering around midtown. Greta scored some beautiful jeans from Saks, while Lincoln came home with a nice sweater and shirt from UO. I particularly liked my cold brew from Blank Street Coffee, which I'd never heard of but which Lincoln confirms, via his girlfriend in Hoboken, is a popular spot. We were back in Rye just after sunset for that aforementioned meal of halibut by Chef Peter.
