I don't have the money for a Jaguar or a vacation home in the Hamptons as I crest the other side of the middle-age hill, but I do have a credit card we opened for Kenya that doesn't charge interest for a year. And now I have a couch-chaise lounge in the basement to replace the nasty leather recliners that we bought around 2007 that in the last year caught a bad case of furniture leprosy. Phyllis came over to break it in with us on the first NFL Sunday of the year.

ReplyDeleteLarry Joe Bird was my childhood hero. I was 9 when he won his first NBA championship in 1981. 14 when he won his last (and third) in 1986.
