It was a weird one. We hosted, but it was a relay with 3-runner teams. Each kid ran like 1.6 miles and instead of a baton they handed off a "sash" that they created. Some kids wore them like pageant contestants, some around their neck, some just carried them. Linc ran the first leg and looked fairly strong at the halfway mark where I was positioned as a course marshal.
