Last first day for one of these kids

No, you aren't seeing things.  I think Lincoln caught her and is now at least a quarter inch taller!  He's very proud of that fact, as if he willed it to happen.  Typically, Greta was slightly more excited for the new school year this morning, though Lincoln wasn't overly morose about it.  Fingers crossed for a healthy year, most importantly.  Our school district, like the rest of America, has given up on any COVID restrictions.  Score one for the Libertarians.  It's all on parents and kids to be honest and not go to school when they're sick, just like it was way back in the Dark Ages of 2019.
