Mom's Day

As I told Carey last night brushing our teeth before bed, it sort of felt like Father's Day!  That's because the bulk of it was spent doing one of my favorite things -- riding bikes through a forest.  Greta wanted to show Lincoln and me the trails at Kalabus-Perry preserve, where she had ridden once earlier this year with her team on a day when Lincoln and I were doing something else. Gotta say, they were pretty great!  Great flow, with not too many un-rideable obstacles, and just enough ups and downs to keep your heart rate high.  Greta's confidence on the bike gets better every day and Lincoln was his usual fearless self.  Carey took a few spills, but hey, that's to be expected after a couple decades away... 😀 Nobody was hurt though and there were quite a few laughs and smiles.  So -- Happy belated Mother's Day to the one woman in the world who puts up with all of us, supports us in every conceivable way, and loves us to the moon and back!
