Stone Dam ride

Linc and I stopped off at a DEC trail about 10 miles outside of South Lake on the way in to camp on Saturday. The ride to Stone Dam was listed as 3.1 miles but there weren't any other names in the log book that admitted to mountain biking the trail. And after about a mile it became apparent why. Just way too many loose leaves, downed trees and quite a few large rocks. We toughed it out for about a 45 minutes, riding a round-trip total of just under 2 miles. Next time, we think we'll stick on the main road. Have the girls drop us off at the Buffalo Head and bike the 20 miles in to camp.
