Songs from the Suburban Council Musical Festival 2020
As Rob posted yesterday, Niskayuna musicians joined 15 other school districts for a wonderful two hour concert on Saturday that featured a Middle School Jazz Ensemble, High School Band, Middle School Chorus, and High School Orchestra. Lincoln auditioned last fall and became one of 110 middle schoolers selected for the chorus. He practiced with the handful of other Nisky kids for the last two months, and after 7 hours of rehearsal Friday and Saturday with a guest conductor from Pennsylvania, Dr. Rachel Cornacchio, performed to a full house. Their 12-minute program featured Sesere Eeye, “Seize the Day” from Newsies, Dona Nobis Pacem, and Sit Down Servant. Enjoy the show!
