The kids and I had a lovely weekend in Syracuse. We avoided the excessive heat with an early morning trip to the berry patch, where fingers flew across the plants to net 8 pounds in record time.
Then we headed to Movie Tavern for a matinee of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 3-D. The movie was fun, and so was posing with The Meg displays after.
Dinner brought a classic grill and chill vibe to the tribe, where the grownups enjoyed champagne to toast success at work, and the kids cooled off in the mini-pool. Sunday we tackled KoolAid hair dye, with mixed results. No color really took to Lincoln or Emily's tresses, but Greta and Allison are rockin' red tips.
