We finally made it to what most consider "the gem" of capital region state parks. Hiked the Indian Ladder Trail with the whole family (minus Mittens) on Sunday. The Indians apparently built actual ladders to climb and cross some of the rock overhangs and ledges as they hauled food and supplies from the Mohawk to the Hudson Rivers, but in 1928 someone built some stairs and it's been an easy amble ever since. Even for a four-legged, 80-lb. beast, who slept the rest of the day.

| Greta did this hike with her 6th grade class last fall and wanted to point out all the fossils. Is this like a cave drawing of a mountain or a miniature Komodo Dragon? |
