Prizes
At Six Flags on Wednesday, the kids each got to play one game on our way out. Greta chose Whack-a-Mole because there was no one else playing and if only the three of us played we would be guaranteed winners. I clarified that with the woman running the booth and she said one of us had to score 150 points in order to get the size prize Greta was eyeballing. So the bell rings and after what felt like just 15 seconds, I resisted the urge to look over at the kids' scores and kept focused on whacking those moles and voila! 150 points for me, 140 for Greta and Linc. Most importantly a penguin for Greta that she named Bridget. Because as she told me: "Bridget does the dishes." She's apparently heard Carey and I address our make-believe maid as "Bridget." As in, walking downstairs in the morning to a mess by the sink and sighing that Bridget forgot to do the dishes again.
Meanwhile, at a nearby booth, Lincoln opted to throw soft baseballs at lions. Knock down two out of three and he could win a gigantic turtle. He threw fastballs with serious mustard, but didn't hit any.

Fred the kind game operator gave him two extra balls and despite missing again, gave him a consolation prize. The photo to the right is not it. He chose a miniature penguin that Yeager has already claimed. In the photo, he's modeling the latest in caterpillar headgear.
