It's cliche, I know, but man does time fly once kids start school! Greta enjoyed her only field trip of the year today (yay, budget cuts!) to the aquarium at Coney Island. Neither Carey nor I could take time off work and chaperone, but she said she really liked the seal show, the shark tank and the sea lions. This is her waiting for the bus this morning and proudly holding her disposable lunch. All first graders made t-shirts with fish on them. Hers is an Angel Fish.
