In addition to his birthday Monday, Lincoln graduated from preschool. I did the math and we paid just under $35,000 for his 2.5 years in the care of the Village Babies Development Center, so they pulled out all the stops to fete their 30 graduates. All the teachers said something, the kids performed an "ABC Poem," and DJ Jam Cat, a regular musical entertainer at school, led them in a sing-along. Lincoln looked very proud of himself throughout and belted out his poem line: "Q is for all the questions we asked throughout the year!" He was one of three kids who projected enough to be heard. That confidence alone is worth at least 30 grand.
Congratulations, Lincoln! It will be off to kindergarten in the Fall. You are really getting to be a BIG boy!
