We got to Syracuse at lunchtime and had a splendid day playing in Grandma's backyard. Marco Polo in the water and out, soccer, hot tubbing and sun bathing. Before the cousins came over Grandma gave the kids assorted gifts from her recent Caribbean cruise. A real starfish for Lincoln, a shirt that changes color in the sunshine, a spiny seashell and a hand-crafted model ship. Greta scored an island hat, a hand-crafted doll, a conch and a handmade dress.
