Carey installed one of Greta's birthday presents today. Strings of plastic bangles that cascade vertically from her door frame. They jingly pleasantly, if annoyingly, whenever you enter her room. So we've accomplished three things: Made our daughter's bedroom feel more like a tarot card reader's joint, eliminated the ability to quietly check on Greta when she's sleeping, and created a strangulation hazard for our 2-year-old. The restaurant at the Barnes Corners Hotel. I think her name was Kate (written on a Frog shaped plaque?) - but I could be wrong about that.
