Dudley & Jen can't make Greta's bash next Saturday, so we met them for lunch on Sunday. Greta scored a lovely dress that will make everyone who sees her wearing it comment on her adorability. When we got home from the late lunch, our daughter started acting strangely. She had a fever most of the day, and it topped out at 103.9 late Sun. afternoon. Tylenol and Motrin brought it down. But she seems to have some sort of pain in her mouth. Her fist or finger is constantly in there, and when she's awake, she whimpers about it. We tried Orajel with not much success and she likes her chilled teething toys for about 10 minutes. We pray she's cutting teeth, but we can't feel anything with our fingers. We also pray that if she's cutting a tooth, every future tooth isn't like this one! She never really settled all night long, waking up every 90 minutes or so. Carey's staying home with her most of the day, so she can post later with an update.
