Snap into a Slim Jim!

Any readers remember that commercial?  I feel like it was a WWF (back when they were WWF, before they lost their lawsuit to the pandas) wrestler saying the pitch line. But I'm too lazy to Google.

Anyway, they are still often Carey's protein of choice when traveling, on two wheels or four. This was outside Patersonville, N.Y., last Saturday, as we rode a new section of the Empire State Trail from Lock 8 outside Schenectady about 10 miles to Patersonville, where there was a convenient convenience store. At this pace we'll complete the entire 300+ mile trail to Buffalo about the time we retire.
