Allison Lynn Santillanes collected her diploma from SUNY Cobleskill on May 10 during a sun-splashed ceremony in rural Schoharie County. She was one of a just a few dozen listed in the program who earned the distinction Summa Cum Laude, which is Latin for "very smart." Her degree is in Early Childhood Education, and the plan is to find a job in Syracuse. This world needs talented and compassionate teachers and any kid will be lucky to have "Miss Allison" at the head of the class!
