Don't be fooled by this photo
Tuesday morning after his walk, Yeager sauntered over to one of his five dog beds and plopped down for a rest, never noticing that Mittens was on the top shelf of the cat tree. Carey, who was working from home, reports that a bit later Yeager repositioned himself on the couch and still didn't notice Mittens. A bit later after that he did, the barking and hissing commenced, Yeager was escorted into the bathroom, the door was closed, and Mittens made his way safely upstairs behind the baby gate in Greta's bedroom. I'd like to say it's progress, but I think Carey's probably right -- it only happened because our old dog was oblivious for a period of time. He's not all bark, no bite. He actually does want to bite.
