Bills 38, Raiders 10

Brother-in-law Abel and I trekked all the way across New York this weekend to catch the Buffalo Bills' home opener, courtesy of PEF. Quarterback Josh Allen righted the ship and looked unstoppable after his nightmare game against the Jets in week one.  We enjoyed the crazy atmosphere and were thisclose to catching a field goal ball thanks for our seats 26 rows off the field between the uprights in one end zone! The gentleman directly in front of me caught it and while he tried to hide it from the Bills staff and cops who came looking for it, apparently you can't do that. Placekickers are weird and only kick certain balls, so they keep those in rotation throughout the game for FGs and extra points. If one goes into the stands, the fan is given another ball in exchange. Who knew?!? Saturday before the game I got a tour of RIT from niece Emily as well.

The view from our seats!

We were probably the only two fans NOT wearing a Josh Allen jersey.

The building where Em has most of her classes.

This is where RIT students innovate, apparently.

And this is where they play hockey, by far their premiere sport. They made if to the "Frozen Four" in 2010, but haven't reached such heights since.

Lots of motivational words on campus buildings.

Move over, Neo.

Sat. night dinner just off campus at a Mexican place called Mercato.
