Well, we aren't crossing the Rainbow Bridge just yet, but I think we're on the long, slow journey to the water. Yeager is on another round of steroids to reduce inflammation in his snout and gums, with Benadryl to combat the itch as needed. Unofficial diagnosis (observation, only) is an autoimmune disease. More detailed diagnosis requires a biopsy and the vet recommends seeing if the steroids work first and worry about additional tests and trauma if they don't. Good luck, big dog!
